The digital telecommunications provider Windstream has unveiled a new SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) trunking solution.
Citing the growing demand among business users for high-speed online networking solutions over a single connection, the US technology company has announced the launch of its Dynamic Office SIP package.
The next-generation networking application enables businesses to enjoy the benefits of combined voice and data communications at high speeds for relatively little cost.
Furthermore, the trunking solution has been hailed as being significantly more cost-effective than traditional communications offerings, enabling access to Windstream's private IP network and helping enterprises to boost productivity and mobility levels of their workforces.
The Arkansas-based firm, which was created on the back of a 2006 telecoms industry merger, currently boasts 3.3 million access lines across the United States, which are used to provide both networking solutions as well as home entertainment such as broadband internet and digital television.
The company, which has a workforce of 8,000 people, recently reported annual revenues of around $3.3 billion.
