Communications solution firm Paetec has announced that its SIP trunking solution has been certified compliant with Avaya's IP Office 6.0 PBX.
The device brings together data, voice an internet communications into a single high-speed IP network, enabling advanced communications capabilities.
Avaya's certification means it is now fully operable with solutions such as the Avaya IP Office and IP networks.
According to Paetec, the trunking product offers numerous advantages to users, including unlimited free site-to-site calling between dynamic IP locations and protected site-to-site voice and data sharing.
John Chapman, senior vice president of marketing at the company, said: "This compliance testing from Avaya will be very well received by our many partners who sell the Avaya product line."
He claimed the open and standards-based platforms such as provide business communication efficiency that was "unimaginable a few years ago".
Paetec provides a range of data and voice equipment, as well as data centres services such as shared web hosting and data backup and recovery.
