GAO Tek has released a new ethernet bridge dock that is suitable for RJ 45 interfaces and DTE devices.
The GAO RB-V35 supports VLAN transfer and can function in 10/100M half and full duplex modes.
Transferring data point-to-point from V.35 channels to RJ45 cable interfaces, it can also be used as an extension or a divider for local area networks with bit rate base structures.
On of the main advantages of the device is that it works in environments with corrosive and solvent gas, dust or strong magnetic fields without the risk of interference.
It also features two time modes - line clock and INT clock - conversion and slot extraction functions and can operate in a temperature range of zero to 50 C.
A number of major networking companies recently claimed that the best temperature range for a data center is between ten C and 35 C, as long as it is at sea level.
