Pulse has introduced a new JKM connector platform that promises circuit board savings.
The JKM-0001NL is tested to IEEE specifications and standards and is fully compatible with 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps data through RJ45 cables.
Furthermore, it is configurable to the latest core topologies, resulting in optimal performance through the various voltage and current modes offered by transceivers.
The product is also compatible with or without LEDs and EMI-fingers, and has a footprint comparable to most 10/100 1x1 RJ45s.
Rowan Noble, a Pulse field application engineer, said: "This new JKM platform is a great addition to the LAN product families here at Pulse.
"We are excited to offer it to our customers needing compact solutions for their projects."
Based in the US and a part of Technitrol, Pulse is a company that specialises in electronic component and subassembly design and manufacturing.
Its products are used in networking and communications, as well as the defence, aerospace and automotive industries.
