Weidmuller has launched its new range of approved unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches, it has been announced.
The new series of Class 1, Division 2 approved switches and media converters come under the WaveLine series products, which are housed in new compact housing.
Users will be able to forge a link between field devices and the Ethernet network.
The series has been designed as plug-and-play modules, without the need for configuration or set-up.
WaveLine products also include new port configurations, including RJ45 copper and fibre optic connections.
The new switches also include port auto negotiation and auto crossing, providing easier and quicker installation.
