Network equipment manufacturer Siemon has introduced a new network cabling solution which uses cat6 cables.According to the firm, the revolutionary category 6A twisted pair copper cabling family is available in both UTP and unshielded configurations and offers users the fastest termination times in the industry.
The Z-Max cords feature an exclusive RJ45 connector with Smart-Plug design, which integrates a tuned circuit board into every plug.
Siemon claims the Smart-Plug's Zero-Cross termination process eliminates the primary causes of inconsistent or degraded transmission performance across RJ45 leads.
Commenting on the ease of installation the new networking system offers, the company sates: "Using the simple, patent-pending Z-Tool, both UTP and shielded outlets can be terminated in as little as 60 seconds from start to finish, including cable preparation."
The new system also uses high-visibility icons and a complete colour-coded identification system.
