PC & Tech Authority has praised the latest router from Netgear - the W4500 N900.The news provider said it has been "highly impressed" with the network equipment manufacturer's offering of late, and the new release continues this trend.
It explained that the dual-band router supports Mbps connections as long as the user has a compatible adapter.
But even without this, the W4500 delivers "good, consistent speeds", PC & Tech Authority claimed.
"We found setup quick and easy, with clearly labelled connection and the requisite cooling," the provider stated.
"Performance was solid on both wired and wireless connections, and we had little issue using the inbuilt file and printer sharing functions."
Overall, PC & Tech Authority described the router as "a solid product", giving it a four-star rating out of a possible six.
