Para Systems has announced a new uninterrupted power supplies (UPS) solution to protect the networking systems of small and medium-sized businesses.
The Minuteman PRO-RT series is a range of products that will help guard against issues such as power surges, strikes and blackouts.
The UPS solutions can either be mounted on a server rack or, using a bracket provided with it, on a wall and comes with power monitoring and management software included.
Bill Allen, director of marketing at Para Systems, said: "When business owners and managers purchase expensive security, telephone or networking systems and do not protect them from potential damage or power outages, these devices are obviously at high risk.
"When you compare the price tag associated with downtime, along with the expense of replacing equipment, the PRO-RT's are an extremely cost-effective way to preserve and protect these investments."
Other products provided by Para Systems include KVM solutions, while the company also makes power distribution units.
