Reichle & De-Massari has unveiled a new RJ45 connector that offers secure, reliable termination.
The FM45 is a tool-free eightconductor connector that can connect a variety of types of copper cabling, including eight millimetre, shielded, unshielded, solid wire and stranded cables.
Contacts are guaranteed and the connector is protected against dust, corrosion and vibrations, making it suitable for a variety of networking applications.
The product is compatible with RJ45 and Cat5e cables and, due to a compact shape, can be lined up horizontally or vertically.
Conveniently, the connector can be installed where it is needed, without unnecessary preparation work and, with a click installation, no crimp tool is required.
Harting recently released a RJ45 connector that, thanks to simple design and use of insulation displacement terminal technology, provided easy connecting.
It included a newly-developed 'gland' that guaranteed fixed connections and secure porting.
