Electro Standards Laboratories has released a new ethernet switch that allows users to share RJ45 devices through multiple ports.
The Model 9474 RJ45 A/B/OFFLINE Network Switch, which is certified for cat 5e compliance, is manually operated, meaning it requires no extra power.
It enables the user to share an RJ45 device between two others and can also isolate all ports by switching to the secure off-line position, while port selection is also secure and convenient through the use of a secure keylock on the front panel.
Furthermore, because of a unique design, featuring deeply recessed ports accessible only through the rear panel, it provides extra security.
The switches also save space in server racks as the only occupy 1U in height, while the anodised black box packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding.
Based in Rhode Island, Electro Standards Laboratories creates fibre optic switches, complex fibre optic cable assemblies and other networking solutions for a range of applications.
