A range of new console extenders has been released by Aten, allowing users to control a server or KVM switch from convenient locations.
Among the products in the range are the CE770, the CE800B and the CE790 and they are suitable for a variety of applications including within home and small offices.
The KVM solutions work with cat5e cables over ranges of up to 1,000 feet, providing resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080.
Sampson Yang, chief executive of Aten, said: "In the realm of connectivity products, one of the most overlooked, yet valuable, tools in the arsenal of the network administrator is the console extender.
"Our R&D teams researched an array of vertical markets and realised that our expanded line of console extenders could fill a centralised management void that would offer an array of commercial and consumer uses."
In addition to KVM extenders, Aten, which is based in Taiwan, also manufactures cables, LCD consoles, switches and data splitters.
