A new range of cabling jacks has been unveiled by Suyin Corporation.
The network equipment manufacturer has introduced a selection of new RJ45connectors with built-in LED technology.
The devices feature two LEDs, one in yellow and the other in either green or orange, allowing network administrators to easily monitor the status of connections.
Extra cables are not required as the device is compatible with power over Ethernet, so data centre operators can use them to save space.
Aimed at users who want a Base-T or gigabit Ethernet network, the connectors are rugged enough to be used in the industrial sector.
Meanwhile, cabling firm R&M has developed a new fibre optic cabling outlet for use in both commercial and residential situations.
The easy to install splice outlet allows users to extend a fibre optic cable connection to any room in a building.
R&M said: "Simple mounting shortens the overall time required for installation."
