A new network tool has been unveiled by comCables, enabling users to reduce installation time and create consistent terminations.
The Rapid Punch Tool is a low voltage cabling solution that can be used with cat5e and cat6 cables, improving testing results.
Created after feedback from customers, the new product is claimed to reduce the learning curve for those installing networking systems while also creating a stronger sense of comfort using structured cable
Andy Work, director and product manager of comCables, explained why the new network tool would prove to be so useful to network engineers.
He said: "The rapid punch tool will provide better consistency amongst technicians regardless of experience due to the design of the tool.
"This device may reduce installation time and increase profit margins for cabling projects."
With so many ethernet cables within data centres and server rooms, tools that can help to make terminations can be extremely important as they reduce the time and money wasted in the process.
