Netgear is celebrating the official certification of another networking product in its substantial portfolio.
The firm's CG3000 Wireless-N Voice/Data Cable Gateway received both DOCSIS 3.0 and PacketCable 1.5 certification.
At least four bonded channels must be supported both upstream and downstream for a product to comply with the standards.
Netgear's new device can stream data at rates of 320Mbps and 120Mbps downstream and upstream respectively.
Commenting on the certification, David James, director of product management for Netgear, said: "Were very pleased to add this CG3000 DOCSIS 3.0 certification to our product portfolio.
"It comes on the heels of a similar achievement for our CG3100 gateway, which achieved certification last month for EuroDOCSIS 3.0 and EuroPacketCable 1.5 specifications."
Meanwhile, earlier this month D-Link received IPv6 Ready Core Logo Phase-2 certification for a number of its server rack mountable products including its xStack DGS-3400, xStack DES-3200, xStack DES-3528/52, DGS-3610 and DES-7200 chassis series switches.
