Cables to Go, a cabling and connectivity solutions provider, has announced it will be adding audio/video distribution amplifiers to its line of implementing digital signage.
The amplifiers add greater versatility to its connectivity products, making digital signage affordable and easier to set up, Reuters reports.
Gary Hess, director of product management at Cables To Go, said: "There are a number of ways to do digital signage, but typically, installations have been high-end and exclusively for larger companies.
"Now Cables To Go is making it easy and affordable for smaller organisations to deploy digital signage and video distribution."
One of the most popular products in the range is the VGA over Cat5 Extender, which enables the running of a VGA signal over a Cat5 cable.
Lee Rambler, vice president of WeeBee Audio, said: "The new Cables to Go rack-mountable series of distribution amplifiers have been a lifesaver for us.
"They are compact, reliable and affordable and allow us to neatly manage wiring that is otherwise a mess with a loose distribution amp floating around the rack."
