Businesses looking for a network attached storage device have been given some useful advice on the latest products on the market.
Reviewers have looked at some of the solutions available at the moment, gauging their usefulness and performance.
In the article for the San Francisco Chronicle, the CNET reviewers explained how the Seagate Momentus XT offered excellent performance at a reasonable price, while the Western Digital My Book 3.0 did not deliver the goods when it came to upgradeability or backup capabilities.
Meanwhile, the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Pro was recommended for the ease of data backup, as well as the fact that a number of ethernet cable options are available for the network attached storage solution.
On the Synology Disk Station DS410, the reviewers said: "[It] is one of the most affordable four-bay full-feature network-attached storage servers on the market.
"While it's overwhelming for novice home users, advanced users will also find it to be one of the best for their home or small business."
Synology's DS410 NAS has maximum capacity of eight terabytes and is capable of hitting speeds of 350 Mbps on average.
