One of Netgear's latest routers has been praised for its usefulness to small businesses.
In an article for Network World, James Gaskin looks at the Netgear ProSafe FVS336G and finds that it is "easy to install, easy to configure and easy to manage".
He also notes that the product can show a breakdown of traffic by protocol, helping users find out what is using the most networking resources.
"The FVS336G is a strong entry in the Dual-WAN market, and that's before taking into account it comes with the second-lowest price tag of the group," the author writes.
"Combining good value with good performance makes the FVS336G an excellent option for small businesses with fewer than 50 users that don't need a large number of VPN connections."
Meanwhile, the Netgear ProSecure UTM25 and STM600 were both recently praised by SC Magazine, which reviewed them with perfect scores.
The UTM25 in particular was noted as being "excellent value for the money".
