One of Netgear's routers has received praise from an IT publication for its features and performance.
Maximum PC has named the Rangemax WNDR3700 in its 'Best of the Best' list, meaning it rises above other routers on the market.
The fact that it is dual band is praised by Michael Brown, writing for the website, as it means two networks can be operated at once.
Other features highlighted include the advanced encryption that is available on it, as well as the ability to plug in a hard drive to introduce network attached storage functions.
Mr Brown said: "Netgear's Rangemax WNDR3700 is packed with features and it performs like a thoroughbred.
"If you're looking for a router with almost everything, Netgear's WNDR3700 is the one to buy."
Netgear recently released the ReadyNAS 3100 and the ReadyNAS 4200, which are network-attached storage devices that can support up to 500 users, helping businesses to reduce costs and increase flexibility.
