Molex is to introduce a new connector to its Edgeline range aimed at low-to-mid range applications.
The EdgeLine CoEdge is a 25Gbps edgecard-to-edgecard connector that meets the standard industry pitch of 0.8mm. It supports 16 PCB thickness variations and is also dual-sided.
Kevin O'Connor, product development manager at Molex Incorporated, said: "Molex is dedicated to providing its customers with high-speed products that are scalable and flexible so that they meet virtually any need.

Molex's data cabling solutions were adopted by InfiniBand last year as the products were ideal for situations where high density and performance was needed.
The company provides a range of interconnect products and, in addition to the networking industry, also supplies other diverse areas such as transportation, lighting and construction.
