A new family of RJ45 LAN jacks from EPCOS has been launched, featuring integrated magnetic modules to isolate common and differential-mode interference.
The jacks are available in single, dual and quad port versions and are able to withstand a breakdown voltage of 1,500 VAC.
The company states they are for application in hubs, routers, DSL modems, PCs and laptops, as well as industrial automation equipment.
Insertion loss stands at -1.0 bD and values of -16 and 140dB are attained for reflection loss and crosstalk respectively, according to the manufacturer, which also states that the components are designed for a temperature range of zero degrees C to 70 degrees C.
Two integrated LEDs display the status of the device's network connection and the jacks are suitable for 10/100 Base-T, 1,000 Base-T and power-over Ethernet.
Last month, EPOCS released its new series of IEC inlet filters, which it claims cost-effectively combine IEC connectors with EMC filters and boast a space-saving design.
