NTT Communications Corporation has been named the best international IP-VPN service provider at a recent awards ceremony.
Gartner-issued Best International Network Service Providers in Asia/Pacific 2007 picked the company out for its high level of network reliability, customer-tailored support and comprehensive network management capabilities.
In recent years, NTT Com has taken steps to enhance the resiliency of its networks and strengthen customer support.
It has hosted a forum called the Arcstar Carrier Forum in which the company shares skills and methods with major partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
Gartner's survey of IT and network managers of multinational companies asked respondents to rate service providers on categories including throughput, latency, reliability, customer support and installation.
