Global electronics market shows signs of improvement - Network AccessoriesA growing number of businesses and individuals may be keen to purchase connectors, cabling kits and other networking accessories in the coming months as the global electronics market shows signs of improvement.

The Digital World Report from GfK has noted that the electronics market has witnessed significant recovery in a large percentage of worldwide regions during the first quarter of 2010.

A 13 per cent improvement was witnessed in the Asia Pacific region in comparison to the same period in 2009, while Latin America, Africa and Middle East all also experienced improved figures.

However, Europe struggled to match these results, with Western Europe displaying only four per cent of growth and Eastern Europe only managing a 12 per cent decline.

In terms of the items that were proving especially popular for consumers, smartphones led the way with 127 per cent growth.

Furthermore, LCD televisions, DVD players and games consoles were other items that experienced a growth.

Environmentally-conscious businesses may want to meet government targets and save money by opting for greener switches, Andrew Mulholland, marketing manager at networking solutions company D-Link Europe, recently stated.
