Voltage Security has unveiled its new SecureMail Archive Connector for Symantec Enterprise Vault.
Through the connector, customers will be able to achieve scalable encryption of sensitive information at an affordable cost with Voltage Identity-Based Encryption (IBE).
The product also enables organisations to keep their existing eDiscovery, archiving, retention and compliance-centric business processes for email.
Voltage-secured messages will be decrypted before they are archived, which will preserve searchability and indexing of the archive.
Wasim Ahmad, vice president of marketing, Voltage Security, said: "Some organizations are concerned that encryption will prevent or complicate other critical processes, such as email archiving and eDiscovery.
"The Voltage SecureMail Archive Connector proves the value of Voltage IBE to ensure that encryption and decryption fit seamlessly into an organization."
