Sling Media has unveiled its two new Slingbox products in the UK.
The Slingbox PRO and Slingbox Solo help to change Macs, PCs, laptops, Windows Mobile-based smartphones and other phones using S60 software on Symbian OS into personal, portable TVs.
The Slingbox products also allow the user to access their home cable or satellite remotely on the internet.
Blake Krikorian, co-founder of Sling Media, said: "We are setting an even higher standard in the placeshifting market by incorporating industry-leading video technology and a streamlined, intuitive setup process for both products.
Features of the two new products include widescreen support, higher streaming performance.
It allows consumers to connect just about any audio/video device using component video, S-Video or composite video connectors and also feature looping outputs for every input.
Mr Krikorian added: "Sling Media is focused on designing products that will provide customers with topvalue and the best possible overall, out of the box experience, and I feel great about the products we are bringing to the market here in the UK with today's announcement."
