Quadrant launches RF-coaxial connectors

Quadrant launches RF-coaxial connectorsQuadrant has unveiled its new family of RF-coaxial connectors from the IMS Connector Systems range.

The new product – SnapN – is a system of snap-on connectors and is now available in the UK.

SnapN is thought of as ideal to be used in filters and as cable connections for mobile communications base stations.

It is also ideal for wireless local area network (WLAN) and measurement equipment, according to its creators.

The N type connectors are backward compatible with the vast range of N type connectors and are significantly quick and easy to install due to the fact that there is no need for a mounting tool.

With an impedance of 50 ohm and a frequency range of as much as 11GHz, the connectors are able to be used for standard flexible and semi-rigid cables.
