Cisco has announced increased sales and income in the fourth quarter and the year ending July 31st.
The company revealed that sales were $10.8 billion in the fourth quarter, representing an increase of 27 per cent year over year, bringing income to $1.9 billion.
Meanwhile, the firm made $40 billion in sales for the year, an increase of 11 per cent on the previous 12 months.
John Chambers, chairman and chief executive of Cisco, said: "As we to continue to successfully grow our business and share of IT investments, our focus is squarely on helping our customers accelerate productivity and growth.
"We are very confident in our strategy, and will continue to aggressively move into new areas where the network is becoming the platform, and where our customers want us to invest and innovate."
Meanwhile, a study by ABI Research recently established that Cisco continues to have over half the market share in enterprise-class wireless access points.
