Aten launches new TFT console drawer - Network Accessories Aten has introduced a new console with an integrated monitor that will help network administrators maximise space in server rooms.

The CL5800N works with the company's KVM switches or other solutions and can slide into server racks through the unit's 1U housing.

Furthermore, a second PS/2 - USB console gives an additional operator simultaneous access and control of another server in the installation.

Sampson Yang, chief executive of Aten, said: "Aten continues to raise the bar by introducing complete server room solutions that provide network administrators with the utmost flexibility - whether they are at the console locally or located remotely.

"With this dual rail 19" LCD console as our newest addition, we truly have the most expansive and affordably-priced line of integrated LCD consoles on the market."

Last month, the company unveiled the CE770, the CE800B and the CE790, console extenders that allow users to control a server or KVM switch from convenient locations.
