Cable testing solution introduced by Ideal Industries - Cabling/Network Kits Ideal Industries has introduced its next generation cable testing equipment.

The LanTEK II range includes three certifiers that can test local area network cabling to TIA, ISO and IEC performance standards.

Ideal Industries say the new devices are the most comprehensive testing units available on the market.

The three models meet copper certification requirements from 350 up to 1000 MHz as well as full fibre optic certification of multi-mode and single mode fibre optic cables.

"LanTEK II certifiers offer an all-inclusive solution for installation, maintenance and certification of LAN cabling," said Dan Payerle, business unit manager of Ideal Industries' DataComm Test Division.

The devices can perform a full diagnostic on Cat6 cables in 14 seconds, saving full graphical data on the integrity and performance of individual cables.

Results are displayed on the devices' high-resolution LCD display for easy reading.

Network equipment manufacturer Megger recently unveiled a range of rugged, connector-less cable testers suitable for use in heavy industry. ADNFCR-1186-ID-19165425-ADNFCR
