Stewart Connector has announced a new cable system that includes RJ45connectors, created for a variety of applications.
The MRJ21 Cabling System is a Cat5e cable assembly that is specifically designed for environments where space is at a premium and where optimal port density is needed, while supporting voice over Internet, power over Ethernet and gigabit Ethernet
Among the versions available is one with six unshielded RJ45connectors to 45 degree angle MRJ21 connectors, as well as others that provide MRJ21 to MRJ21 connection.
The modules are also fully shielded to keep EMI emissions at a minimum and have been tested for their durability to 500 cycles. In addition to this, built-in compensation reduces crosstalk in the contact layout.
A wiring expert from Infoworld recently stressed the importance of network cabling for businesses, describing them as "absolutely critical", adding that companies should invest in proper cable management.
