IT network cabling manufacturer Siemon has launched a new RJ45 computer cable, which features a reduced-diameter flex with low-profile, ultra-slim relief boot.
The category 6 UTP MC6 patch cord also has an extended latch to allow for easier installation and removal of leads in places where there is a high density of cables.
Said van Vout, marketing manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Siemon, added: "This ultra-slim boot delivers extremely robust cable strain relief, maintaining performance critical bend radius while maximising flexibility and ensuring excellent cable retention."
To make it easier for those using the RJ45, they come with colour-coded clips to make it easier to identify individual leads.
This comes after data from the Dell'Oro Group revealed that the ethernet switch market grew by eight per cent in the second quarter of 2011 compared with the preceding three-month period.
