Rockwell expands industrial Ethernet offering - RJ45 Patch Leads Rockwell Automation, a leading manufacturer of structured cabling and connectors, has expanded its industrial Ethernet equipment range.

The firm's new component range is specifically designed for harsh industrial environments

A statement from the company said: "The new Rockwell Automation physical media offering provides industry with new levels of ethernet security, flexibility and reliability."

The RJ45 patch cords are available in both two and four-pair configurations and spools of the cabling come in lengths of 100, 300 and 600 metres.

Meanwhile, the patch leads with M12 connectors are provided in a standard two-pair configuration.

Recently, Cooper Control launched a new light processor that uses standard RJ45 connectors.

The firm's LightProcessor is an RJ45 adaptation of thecomapny's standard DMX Buffer data distribution unit.

Mountable in a standard 19-inch server rack or server cabinet, the new device offers users 1KV of isolation between input and output, as well as an LED status indicator. ADNFCR-1186-ID-19429263-ADNFCR
