Hitech Innovation Group, in partnership with Fame LLC, claims to have developed the world's thinnest cable.
The Wiretape, which was recently exhibited at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles, can be folded as many times as the user requires and is resistant to extreme temperatures.
It was also revealed that the product, which can be purchased from September, is available in a width of five lines for smaller cables such as USB, S-VHS, composite, and a width of 18 lines for larger connectors such as HDMI, VGA and RJ45.
Wiretape, which is designed to be more flexible and less seemly, can be painted over or easily hidden under carpets or even wallpaper.
"While many devices are going wireless nowadays, there are still a great many devices that need a physical cable, though they're often unsightly. The Wiretape from Hitech Innovation might be the solution," commented Ubergizmo.com.
It was also reported this week that Cognex Corporation has improved the accessibility of its VisionView operator interface through a new hardware option.
