Cognex creates new output option for VGA systems - Network Cables

Cognex creates new output option for VGA systems - Network CablesCognex Corporation has developed a new option to deliver its VisionView operator interface to any Video Graphics Array (VGA) display.

The company said the VGA hardware option enables operators to view their applications using any size monitor, no PC required.

Users can now connect the VisionView VGA to an ethernet network using an RJ-45 LAN cable, and to the monitor using a VGA cable.

"These new enhancements give users more flexibility to tailor their operator interface to suit their personal preferences and factory environments," said Bhaskar Banerjee, business unit manager for Vision Systems at Cognex.

"New hardware and software options plus the ability to view results from up to nine vision systems simultaneously make VisionView the most powerful tool for monitoring and controlling vision applications directly from the factory floor."

VisionView VGA supports VGA resolution of 640 x 480, SVGA resolution of 800 x 600, XGA resolution of 1024 x 768, as well as Mitsubishi GT15 and GT16 touch screens.
