Cabling manufacturer one of Americas fastest growing firms - RJ45 Patch Leads A Baltimore-based cabling manufacturer has been named one of the fastest growing firms in the country.

Control Cable has experienced significant growth despite the ongoing global economic downturn and has entered into the top 5,000 of Inc Magazine's 2009 fastest growing businesses list.

"We are very proud to receive this recognition from Inc Magazine," said Richard Meltzer, president and chief executive officer of Control Cable.

"We really saw the crippling economy as a unique challenge and refused to let it get the best of us. Our strong and thriving organisation is made up of determined and phenomenal individuals that understand we're in this together," Mr Meltzer added.

The company, which was founded in 1975, is one of the oldest privately owned cabling firms in the US and focuses its operation on data networking and network equipment manufacturing.
