Belden expands DataBus cabling line - RJ45 Patch Leads Belden has expanded its DataBus cabling line, increasing the range's capabilities.

The company's new low capacitance DataBus Cables have been redesigned to operate in a broader temperature range making them suitable for industrial applications.

Belden's DataBus cabling range now consists of PLTC/ITC-ER, PLTC and TC-ER versions that comply with Fieldbus specification IEC 61158.2.

The company said: "The DataBus cables offer superior electrical design and robust construction to ensure consistently reliable performance, while also providing installation flexibility in diverse industrial environments including outdoor installations and sites requiring multiple or extended cable runs."

Belden, recently added a new Cat6 cable to its portfolio, which the company claims offers high-bandwidth and guaranteed data performance suitable for mission critical applications.

The DataTwist 3600, which consists of four twisted copper pairs wrapped around a flexible core, offers 280MHz of usable channel bandwidth.
