Allied's RJ45 connectors redesigned - RJ45 Adaptors

Allied's RJ45 connectors redesigned - RJ45 AdaptorsAllied Connectors has announced that its RJ45 connectors have been redesigned to ensure that they fit in with industry standards.

The new products from the company now comply with the IEEE802.3 and ANSIX3.263 standards and the shielded connectors will be available in a variety of configurations, reports ElectroPages.

Some of the units come with LED options and the company has asserted that samples can be obtained.

The connectors are commonly used in PC and wireless cards but also feature in network exchangers, networking set top boxes and a variety of telecommunication units.

Earlier this month, IT network cabling manufacturer Siemon announced the release of a new RJ45 computer cable, which features a low-profile, ultra-slim relief boot.

The category 6 UTP MC6 patch cords feature an extended latch to enable users to install them with greater ease and remove them from areas where there is a high density of cables and other equipment, the company explained.
