Next-gen networking the focus of Japanese expoThe focus on next generation networking technology will be intensified at the upcoming Fibre Optic Expo in Japan.

Held in Tokyo between January 21-23rd of next year, the event will have a large array of optical data transfer exhibition zones.

The event, which is expected to attract 15,000 visitors and 300 exhibitors, claims to be the largest of its kind in Asia.

According to tech-news website LightWave: "The number of Western, Chinese, and Korean firms that have used the event to stake a place in the Japanese market or attract business to their home countries has grown steadily"

The event will also host an Optical Premises Network Solution Zone, which will focus on reducing heat dissipation and power consumption in data centres.

Meanwhile, Dueltek Computer Products have launched a range of multi and single-mode fibre optic patch cables which at 50 microns offer the same bandwidth of 62.5 micron cables.ADNFCR-1186-ID-18877772-ADNFCR
