New IP-based device management system from Tripp Lite - Network Cables A new device management solution has been developed by network equipment manufacturer Tripp Lite.

The company's IP Console Servers, offer universal device management capable of organising servers, workstations, routers and much more.

Tripp Lite's IP Console Servers, which are server rack mountable, come in several configurations with either 16 or 48 RJ45 ports.

Each device features dedicated LAN management support – allowing for fast and secure processor access.

They also sport built-in routers and firewalls as well as a DHCP server.

David Posner, the firm's cables and connectivity product manager said: "Tripp Lite's new IP Console Servers are suitable for any application that requires secure access, high availability and consolidated device management."

The devices are capable of supporting 50 concurrent users and accessing thousands of devices through a single IP address.

Tripp Lite recently unveiled a new wall-mountable server cabinet, which features 12 units of rack space and is aimed at businesses with a limited amount of space for data storage equipment. ADNFCR-1186-ID-19302967-ADNFCR
