Tyco has introduced new cabling solutions into its Madison range that offer high-speed connectivity for networking users while keeping signal integrity.
The TurboTwin Low Smoke Zero Halogen no need cables feature parallel-pair designs that offer exceptional performance and consistency, making it ideal for use as ethernet cables.
If exposed to fire, the emissions of smoke and toxic gases from the cables would be kept to a minimum and they are also PVC-free, further enhancing their environmentally-friendly features.
Brian Morissette, high speed product manager at Tyco, said: "The cables offer low skew, tightly controlled impedance and uniform characteristics to achieve excellent signal integrity.
"They are among the first to meet the rigorous CSA FT4 flammability and physical testing requirements for this type of cable."
Last year, Tyco introduced a new version of its Amp NetConnect Sigma-Link solution, promising data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps over standard Cat5 and Cat6 copper cabling.
