Network equipment manufacturer Hitachi Cable Manchester (HCM) is set to attend the Building Industry Consulting Service International 2009 (BICSI) Spring Conference and Convention in Baltimore.
The firm, which is a leading producer of standard copper Cat5 and Cat6 cables and also manufactures fibre optic leads, will be promoting its upcoming product lines.
Steve Kenney, marketing manager at HCM, said: "We're very excited about this year's BICSI event."
He added that as communication technology advances, HCM needs to adapt to its customers demands and use its research and development budget to create "cable products that rise to meet the challenges".
As well as Cat6 cables, the company will be showcasing transmission equipment that uses the new Cat7 shielded cable standard and its new nano-fibre optical Ethernet cable.
BICSI will be holding conferences around the world this year, with exhibitions in Dubai, the US and Japan, as well as more events in 2010.
