H20 Networks rebranded


H20 Networks rebrandedH2O Networks, which provides installation services for fibre optic leads in the UK's sewer networks, has split its business up and renamed itself as the i3 Group.

The five new divisions are Fibrecity Holdings, H2O Networks, Innovation Centre, World Wide Distribution Centre and H2O International.

Fibrecity Holdings will focus on installing cabling in towns and cities across the UK, with Bournemouth and Dundee already close to being connected to networking equipment that promises data transfer speeds of up to 100Mbps.

Meanwhile, H2O Networks and H2O International will deal with providing private firms with fibre optic cables.

The Innovation Centre and World Wide Distribution Centre will offer technical support, training, storage and distribution.

i3 Group's fibre optic network in Dundee will allow more than 70,000 residents to connect to high speed broadband.

The project is costing the company £30 million to install and will be Scotland's larget fibre to the home network.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19000957-ADNFCR
