New housing developments in Wembley will receive broadband speeds of up to 100Mbps over a new fibre to the home network.
The infrastructure, which will use cutting edge fibre optic leads, will be created by Velocity1, which is a triple-play TV, telephone and broadband internet service provider.
Velocity1 is jointly owned by UK property developer Quintain Estates & Development.
James Saunders, a managing director at Quintain, said: "We can install everything at once and enable the service straight away, so people do not have to wait for a satellite dish to be installed or take time off work for a BT engineer to come round."
The company guarantees between eight and 100Mbps transfer rates.
Users are required to buy data bundles off Velocity and are able to top up their broadband speed to 100Mbps for 30 minutes at a cost of £1.
In related news, short-term mobile broadband contracts are becoming more popular as consumers shun long-term contracts.
