The Black Box Corporation is celebrating after its SpaceGAIN range of cables and panels landed a major technology award.
Geared towards saving space in the home and office, and also reducing clutter within high-density IT infrastructures, the line of produces was first introduced back in November of 2009.
Already it has won major industry praise, with the range being named as a winner in the latest Best Products and Services Award scheme run by Network Products Guide.
Rake Narang, editor-in-chief of the Network Products Guide, explained that, alongside advances being made in the technological field, increased awareness among end-users of the importance of ensuring networking cables flow smoothly through an office means that demand for such products is only likely to increase.
"SpaceGAIN Cables and Patch Panels significantly reduce cabling space problems, cable management, and costs in crowded cabinets," he concluded.
According to Black Box, half of IT professionals are investing in increasing their networking cabling density so as to reduce the amount of space taken up by cabinets, rather than in order to cut back on costs.
