The Optical Cable Corporation (OCC) has expanded its portfolio of fibre optic leads and connectors.
OCC's new connectivity products are suitable enterprise, commercial, industrial and custom applications.
The company now offers a full range of anaerobic fibre optic connectors, kits and accessories, which it hopes will increase the speed at which network equipment can be deployed in the field.
"OCC's anaerobic fibre-optic connectors, kits, and cleaners expand our fibre-optic connectivity product line," says Bruce Smith, product manager at the firm.
"These high-quality solutions are in direct response to the needs of our customers," he added.
Mr Smith concludes that the new kits are easy to install and offer quick and simple assembly at the component level.
Last month Hitachi Cable Manchester introduced a new fibre optic cable which houses a 24-fibre Nanocore.
The company claimed the new connecting cable offers customers the speed and reliability of fibre optics without the drawbacks created by cable-end dust and scratches.
