Monster unveils world's fastest network cable - Network Cabling NewsTwo new network cables have been revealed by Monster, including the ready-for-the-future M Series M2000 Hyper-Speed Cable for HDMI.

With a speed of 21 gigabits per second, the M2000 is the world's quickest cable, featuring optimised conductors, connectors and dielectrics, which results in exceptional picture and sound quality when used with HD home entertainment systems.

Monster head Noel Lee said the new HDMI 1.4 specification is capable of supporting both 3D and larger pixel density technologies.

"Delivering all of the capabilities of these new display technologies and others into the future will demand an even larger 'data pipe' than what is available today," he explained.

Mr Lee went on to say that the development of the M2000 removed "the fear of obsolescence once and for all", with the demand for increased broadband capabilities having been met.

The new cables are "future ready", meaning they won't need to be replaced when new HD components are released on to the market.

Last week, Monster unveiled the PowerNet 1G, the world's fastest PowerLine Communication product.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19552611-ADNFCR
