ADC Krone introduces fibre management - Fibre Leads

ADC Krone introduces fibre management - Fibre LeadsADC Krone has unveiled a new system to separate fibre optic leads from standard Cat5 and Cat6 cables.

The firm claims its Fibreguide technology is aimed at the telecoms sector and protects cabling, preventing damage and outages.

ADC Krone claims Fibreguide can be installed underfloor alongside standard cabling and ensures that fibre optic lead's bend radius is not exceeded.

The company claims that the system also makes re-routing fibre leads easier and will prevent the problem of air damns often association with bulkier Cat6 cabling.

"By helping to increase airflow below the floor, overhead Fiberguide can reduce the amount of cooling needed and cut the electrical power required for driving the cooling plant," ADC Krone states.

Meanwhile, Dell recently introduced a new range of server cabinets that provide users with more efficient power and cooling systems.

Dell states that the new devices run at a lower temperature without increasing their total power consumption.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19067421-ADNFCR
