Draka Communications has announced a new range of cabling products, aimed at meeting the needs of LAN and data centre managers.
Fitting cables on challenging routes with tighter corners is to be made easier though Draka's UC Precon range, which for the first time combines the company's patented twisted pair cables with Class EA performing connectivity solutions.
The designs have been optimised for robustness to ensure that high performance remains through all types of environmental stress, with the pre-connected cables reducing the cost of installation and downtime by as much as 50 per cent.
Meanwhile, the bend-insensitive MaxCap-BB-OM3/4 multimode fibre is especially useful in small footprint data centres where more connectors are required.
Draka is to demonstrate the pre-terminated cabling solutions for data centre and LAN applications at the Data Centre World Show, which takes place in London over two days from February 23rd.
More than 2,000 data centre professionals are set to attend the show at the Barbican and benefit from in excess of 32 free sessions, alongside taking in displays from 100 exhibitors.
