TSSI Systems has launched a new video door entry system, which it claims can cut the installation cost of such systems by as much as 50 per cent.
According to the firm, when compared with traditional hard-wired video equipment, contractors and businesses could save substantial amounts of money.
The devices uses simple plug and play technology, allowing for the ultimate in flexibility when installing the product, the company claims.
Meanwhile, the network equipment is compatible with standard Cat5 cables and uses RJ45connectors, which also aids with deployment.
Stewart Hefferman, chief operating officer of TSSI Systems, said: "Compared with traditional hard-wired video door entry solutions, the Cat5 entry system saves the installer time and the end user considerable money."
"It's a win win situation for all," he added.
TSSI Systems has also introduced a range of one-way audio and video solutions for use in multi-apartment environments, which also used standard Cat5 leads.
