Network equipment manufacturer Keithley Instruments has introduced a new range of cabling kits which allow for simpler current voltage and capacitance voltage testing.
The cables are compatible with Keithley's Model 4200 Semiconductor Characterisation System, as well as a plethora of other testing products.
High performance triaxial wiring ensures that they are ideally suited for businesses who need to quickly switch between different test types and voltages.
Two versions of the cable kit are available, one optimised for use with Keithley's own probes and a generic version.
Usually measuring voltage, capacitance and carrying out pulse testing requires three different wiring setups, but the new triaxial cabling kits get around this problem allowing a wide range of test to be carried out at the flip of a switch.
Meanwhile, GAO Fibre Optics has unveiled a new cost-efficient meter aimed at engineers, which can be used on installation, debugging and maintenance projects on fibre optic leads.
