Veracity UK introduces new cabling adapter - Leads and Accessories

Network equipment manufacturer Veracity UK has introduced a new device aimed at solving the problems surrounding the set up of power over Ethernet camera systems.

The new PinPoint adaptor allows contractors to make instant focussing adjustments using a laptop or PDA while they are stood next to the camera.

Veracity UK unveiled its new PinPoint system at the IFSEC 2009, the world's largest global annual security event.

The adapter eliminates the need for a second person to view output from newly installed devices, which the company hopes will save installation professionals both time and money.

Alastair McLeod, managing director, Veracity UK, commented: "We developed PinPoint through talking to installers who were frustrated that it wasn't easy to focus PoE powered IP cameras without using an additional person monitoring the images."

More than 600 companies attend this year's IFSEC 2009 conference, which featured product launches, free seminars, and business seminars for security installers.ADNFCR-1186-ID-19170247-ADNFCR
